Senior Staff Accountant Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 Location: Orlando, FL (On-site) About the Company: Our client is a top-tier operator in the self-storage industry, backed by nearly 150 years of combined experience. About the Role: We're seeking a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join a dynamic accounting team. This role will be responsible for fund-level accounting, investor reporting, and financial reconciliations. If you have a strong foundation in accounting, enjoy analytical work, and are proficient in QuickBooks and Excel, this could be a great fit for you. Key Responsibilities: Manage fund-level accounting: taxes, insurance, and debt service Maintain and reconcile escrow accounts for insurance, taxes, and capital improvements Prepare monthly cash forecasts and investor capital balance reports Handle monthly sales and use tax filings Track term loans, cost of goods sold, and monthly inventory reconciliations Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 2 years of relevant experience Strong understanding of GAAP Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs) Why Join?
