Job Description: NAPA IBS is an onsite Single Source Supply Chain Management program. We procure and manage parts, tires, bulk fluids, and other non-automotive inventory at our customers' locations. Our customers include airlines, city and county governments, transit agencies, and private fleets.
This position is located inside the Sarasota Fire Fleet Garage.
Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for inventory protection, asset management, and operational issues.
  
• Ensure proper processes and procedures are utilized to minimize inventory shrinkage.
  
• Provide outstanding customer service to our partners and customers.
  
• Fulfill all work order requests from customers using approved IBS vendors.
  
• Review daily reports to ensure fill rate requirements are met.
  
• Ensure the site uses approved non-company line codes appropriately.
  
• Barcode inventory and place items in appropriate bin locations.
  
• Maintain overall cleanliness of the site, stockroom, and outside areas.
  
• Immediately inform management of customer sales or service concerns and address them promptly.
  
• Work with the local management team to handle reconciliation tasks as per policy and procedures.
  
• Understand, interpret, and comply with company policies.
  
  Qualifications, Experience, Education, and Abilities
  
  
• Parts knowledge in Fire and EMS preferred. Experience in industries such as automotive, heavy-duty, transit, police, refuse, agricultural, GSE, marine, or industrial is a plus.
  
• Strong personal drive and ability to source hard-to-find items.
  
• Ability to source items using internet searches, catalogs, blueprints, etc.
  
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
  
• Federal background check required.
  
• Work hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with possible extended hours during emergencies or natural disasters.
  
• Comfortable working in a fleet shop environment.
  
• Work may be in facilities without air conditioning.
  
• Exposure to fumes or airborne particles may occur.
  
• Ability to stand and walk for entire shift.
  
• Capable of lifting and moving parts/boxes up to 60 pounds.
  
• Able to bend, stoop, and reach shelves (up to eight feet) using a stool or ladder.
  
• Operate moving aids like hand trucks, carts, and dollies.
