Job Summary and Qualifications Under the direction of the Radiologist, is able to perform MRI Scans and all related duties on the GE 1.5 magnet. Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical and computerized procedures for the purpose of detecting pathology. Participates in the establishment of scan protocols and in execution of specific applications. Responsible for contrast administration and maintaining knowledge and practice of MRI safety techniques. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and the medical staff. Is organized and able to perform several duties at once; is flexible enabling add-on requests to be completed as required. Position requires Call. What qualifications you will need: - Graduate of an approved School of Diagnostic Technology - Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date - Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist - Registered with ARRT (R) at hire - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) through ARRT at hire - 1 - 3 years experience preferred Years of Experience Oviedo Medical Center is a 64-bed acute care hospital.
