Job Description Job Description Summary: The Registered Nurse (Inpatient Surgical Unit) provides high-quality, patient-centered care to post-surgical patients within a medical-surgical unit. This role involves monitoring patients after recovery from PACU, performing wound care, administering medications, managing pain, and delivering post-operative care and education. The RN collaborates with surgeons, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe recovery and optimal patient outcomes during overnight and extended inpatient stays. What you will do in this role: Provide direct nursing care to post-surgical patients, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient status. Administer medications, manage pain control, and perform wound care according to physician orders and clinical protocols. Monitor for post-operative complications and promptly communicate changes in patient condition to the care team. Educate patients and families on post-surgical care, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, coordinated, and high-quality patient care. Qualifications: 1 year of RECENT (within the last 4 years) acute care RN experience. If a candidate has 3 or more years of experience as an RN and if they have their compact license (They’ll still need to apply for the FL license) we can consider and move forward. If a candidate has less than 3 years of RN experience, they’ll need to take the NCLEX in FL and once they pass we can consider (This is if candidates do not have a FL RN License) Shift Available: Nights (Rotating Weekends) Shift Differentials: Nights: 4.25. & Weekend: 3.00 Sign On: $15k Days / $25k Nights Relocation Assistance: Case by Case Company Description LanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
