HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Internal Medicine GME Chief Resident to join our esteemed Graduate Medical Education (GME) program. The Chief Resident will play a pivotal role in leading internal medicine residents, facilitating educational opportunities, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and academic excellence are met. This position requires a keen ability to mentor residents, manage administrative responsibilities, and promote a collaborative environment within our state-of-the-art healthcare facility. Lead and mentor internal medicine residents throughout their educational phases Coordinate and facilitate daily resident activities including rounds, lectures, and workshops Evaluate and assess resident performance and providing constructive feedback Assist in curriculum development and implementation in alignment with ACGME standards Serve as a liaison between residents and hospital administration Promote research and scholarly activities among the residents Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and education standards Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Proficient in conflict resolution and problem-solving Adept at multitasking and managing multiple priorities Competency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Valid state medical license
