Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Gainesville, FL Agency: Towne U.S. LLC Pay: $1,695 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position About the Job We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team for contract assignments. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care while gaining experience in a variety of clinical settings. Responsibilities Work under the guidance of a Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility interventions Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support optimal patient outcomes Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety techniques, and strategies for continued progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations Ensure a safe, organized therapy environment and proper use of equipment Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program Current PTA license in the state of assignment Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (SNF/LTC experience a plus) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient populations Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care What We Offer Competitive weekly pay Housing and travel stipends Medical, dental, and vision benefits Dedicated recruiter and clinical support throughout the assignment Requirements Required for Onboarding PT/PTA
