Job Description:
HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a dedicated and
skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CPCU) for our progressive care
unit during night shifts. As a key member of our cardiovascular
team, the coordinator will manage the nursing activities and
patient care of the unit, ensuring compassionate, efficient, and
quality care tailored to the needs of patients recovering from
cardiac procedures. This role demands a commitment to enhancing
patient outcomes and staff development within a state-of-the-art
facility renowned for high standards in cardiovascular care.
Supervise and organize the nursing operations of the progressive
care unit during night shifts. Monitor patient care and ensure
adherence to established policies and procedures. Coordinate with
healthcare teams to facilitate comprehensive patient care planning
and implementation. Participate in the development and training of
nursing staff to improve skills and effectiveness. Assess patient
progress, and coordinate with doctors and other medical staff to
adjust treatment plans as necessary. Ensure compliance with health
and safety standards to maintain superior patient care. Manage
resources efficiently to meet the needs of the unit and optimize
patient outcomes. Proven ability to manage a healthcare team
effectively Strong clinical skills in a cardiovascular care setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to make
quick and accurate decisions Proficient in using electronic health

Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of Florida
BLS/ACLS certification Preferably certified in Progressive Care
Nursing (PCCN)
