Johns Hopkins Medicine, an esteemed leader in healthcare renowned for pioneering research and clinical superiority, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse II to join our Pediatric ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) team. This vital role involves providing critical care to pediatric patients requiring ECMO therapy at our state-of-the-art facilities. As a member of our team, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional care, guided by our extensive history of medical achievements and our commitment to educational excellence. Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients on ECMO. Assess patient condition, administer medications, and monitor vital signs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans. Educate and support patients' families regarding care processes. Participate in research initiatives and apply new learning to patient care. Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards. Proficient in pediatric critical care and ECMO procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of Maryland. Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) preferred. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
