Job Description:
As a pivotal leader within HCA Healthcare, the Clinical Nurse
Coordinator for Neurology presents a unique opportunity to champion
quality patient care and staff development in our Neurological
Department. A blend of clinical expertise and strategic leadership,
this role supports the department leader in managing our highly
specialized Neuro unit, ensuring adherence to the latest medical
protocols and delivering superior patient outcomes. Oversee daily
operations of the Neuro unit, ensuring compliance with healthcare
regulations and HCA standards. Collaborate with healthcare
professionals to implement evidence-based practices tailored to
neurology care. Facilitate continuity of care and a
multidisciplinary approach by functioning as a liaison between
patients, nurses, doctors, and other healthcare providers.
Implement patient safety and quality initiatives, monitor patient
outcomes, and adjust care plans as necessary. Conduct staff
evaluations and training sessions to foster skill development and
adherence to best practices. Advanced clinical skills in neurology
Excellent leadership and communication abilities Proficiency in
electronic medical record (EMR) systems Ability to manage multiple
tasks in a stressful environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of practice Certification in Neuroscience Nursing
(CNRN) is preferred
