Job Description:
HCA Healthcare seeks a dedicated RN specializing in Pre and
Postoperative Care to join our team on a day shift. This role is
crucial in preparing patients for surgery and ensuring their safe
and effective recovery post-procedure. The chosen candidate will
work in a supportive environment designed to foster personal growth
and improve patient outcomes by leveraging advanced medical
protocols and a commitment to excellence in care. Prepare patients
for surgery, including explaining procedures and aftercare Monitor
patient vital signs and pain, providing timely intervention as
needed Administer medications as prescribed and monitor reactions
Assist with surgical procedures and provide postoperative care
Document patient care services by charting in patient and
department records Educate patients and their families on
postoperative home care needs Maintain a safe, comfortable, and
therapeutic environment for patients Proficient in monitoring vital
signs Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to
operate medical equipment related to pre and postoperative care
Excellent organizational and time management skills Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Life Insurance
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS/ACLS certification
required from the American Heart Association
