We are seeking Faculty with a proven track record in education and/or subspecialty training. We are specifically looking for candidates with training in EMS or Research. Candidates should have recent scholarly activity such as publication of original research or review articles in peer-reviewed journals, chapters in textbooks, or participation in national committees and societies. The Emergency Medicine Residency Program has the benefit of being a new program, offering the ability to provide a cutting-edge learning environment using the latest educational ideas and theories. Appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor will be commensurate with years of experience and accomplishments.Board Certified/Board Prepared Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) Clinicians with a proven interest in academic emergency medicine and education are encouraged to apply.The Department of Emergency Medicine at Oak Hill Hospital, in collaboration with the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, established an allopathic Emergency Medicine Residency program in July 2018. The Program is approved for Eight Residents per year, 24 total residents. Oak Hill Hospital's Emergency Room and Pediatric Emergency Room features one of the area's busiest ER services with more than 65,000 combined ER patients treated last year. Oak Hill Hospital's Graduate Medical Education include: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Anesthesia and Transitional Year.Preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Completed a Medical Education and/or Simulation Fellowship and/or,
• Two years prior Core Faculty experience in an Emergency Medicine ResidencyResponsibilities may include organizing and implementing the didactic & simulation curriculum, overseeing didactic evaluation, and managing resident education requirements.
