Job Description:
The University of Florida Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and
Sports Medicine invites applications for a full-time Orthopaedic
Oncology Surgeon to join its expanding and highly collaborative
oncology division. This is an outstanding opportunity to become
part of a nationally recognized academic medical center with a
strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and research.
The position is available at the rank of Assistant Professor,
Associate Professor, or Professor, on either a tenure-accruing or
non–tenure-accruing track. Academic rank and salary will be
commensurate with experience, qualifications, and scholarly
accomplishments. Candidates must be board certified or board
eligible. The successful candidate will play an integral role in
delivering high-quality patient care while contributing to the
education and mentorship of fellows, residents, and medical
students. Opportunities for clinical and/or basic research, program
development, and multidisciplinary collaboration are strongly
supported and encouraged. Qualifications: MD or DO degree.
Completion of an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency. A
one-year or greater musculoskeletal oncology fellowship. Successful
completion of Part 1 of the Orthopaedic Surgery Boards Examination.
Eligibility for an unrestricted Florida Medical License through the
Florida Board of Medicine. Application Process: Qualified
