What You'll Do as a Senior Accountant: As a key player in the finance department, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data across multiple locations and service lines. Core responsibilities include: Creating and posting journal entries during the monthly close. Preparing financial reports and market-specific statements. Reconciling key accounts and identifying discrepancies. Partnering with field teams to ensure accurate billing and collections. Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting. Supporting mergers, acquisitions, and capital expenditure tracking. Contributing to audit prep and reporting, including fixed asset reconciliation. This Senior Accountant role also involves assisting with SAP reporting, backup coverage for office managers, and process improvement projects. Qualifications for the Senior Accountant Role: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2-4 years of professional accounting experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.
